Thanksgiving ...

Night Before ... Huuuuuh (deep sigh and shake of the head). It's a good thing she is so cute because I often want to duct tape her to the furniture to get her to keep still.
Night Before ... Tow Toe and Grammy making Pecan and Pumpkin Pies

So, at the risk of falling asleep like a normal person after a huge Thanksgiving meal, we decided to quick trip it to Disneyland. I'm pleased to report that 'It's A Small World' is now back up and running. It was brilliant too, the Christmas stuff was all up (should be since the ride has been down since last Christmas), with a fresh new paint job, new boats and little people all looked very shiny. Ella was her normal pain in the tail self while trying to get in the row in front of ours, jump out of the boat entirely to play with the little Small World people, putting hands in the water ... Small World is a really long ride!!!!!!

Huge Puppies ...

Vanilla is Aiden's favorite - he's asked if we can keep him.
This is no longer Chocolate but Isabella or Izzy. Grammy will be taking her off our hands.
Jamoca likes to hang out away from the group and have a little of himself touching the cold porcelain in the bath tub. We are pretty certain that Jamoca will go live with Jake & Kyle.

New Puppies ...

These are the newest additions (temporary of course) to our family.
Meet Chocolate, Vanilla and Jamoca.
Lady seemed a little funny all day Thursday; she didn't eat and just rooted around the whole house looking for a cozy spot. Chris went to bed at midnight and when I got up on Friday at 6, she didn't get up to go outside. I turned on the lights and there they were.
Contrary to popular belief, Lady is a doting mother and only goes out to quickly "wee" and runs back in to her little guys.
After a quick trip to the vet we learned that Lady and the puppies are all doing well. These puppies squeak A LOT.

I just can't believe this is in MY house ... this goes on the list of things I NEVER thought the family would experience. Aiden thinks this is the coolest thing ever!

On the Ocean

Until now, Aiden's been a little skeptical of boats on the the actual ocean. I mean, we barely got him to ride Nemo at Disneyland without an episode. Surprisingly, when they got out of the harbor, he kept asking for the boat to go faster & to turn right. He loved to turn right.
I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD!!!!!

For those of you that don't know, California is on FIRE. Obviously, the ocean is not affected but if you look at this enormous smoke cloud, that is about 5 miles from my house and only 2 miles from my Mom & Dad's ...

New Addition to the Family

Meet Lady; the newest edition to our family. OK, now she is obviously beautiful, but there's a catch to this Lady. She's over 60 days pregnant (Pomeranian's only carry their babies for 63 days). We saw her being chased by a bunch of kids in our apartment complex Saturday night. Her actual owner was not around so we started to take her home to post signs that we'd found her. We were almost home when the owner walked up and asked if we were interested. She is a full time student with a full time job and didn't have time to care for her properly. She was more than willing to keep her until the puppies were born, but then told us how she was never home and had to leave her in a cage all day since she wasn't properly potty trained. What???!!!! So after an $85 vet visit (ugh!) , it was determined that she was in excellent health (other than being pregnant and fully dilated); so we called her former owned and told her we would look after her. For a dog that just hid in the corner on Saturday night, she is now laying flat out in the middle of the floor, not a shy bone in her body. She is really big though, so if anyone is interested in a 1/2 Pomeranian 1/2 Doberman (HAHAHAHA) let me know, they should be here any time.

Halloween!!!!

From left to right: Swat Team guy (as close to weapons as his Mom will let him get , Nathan); Girl Pirate (Tory's friend Teresa's daughter Eva); Thomas the Tank Engine (Aiden); Harry Potter (Jakey); and supposed to be a Fairy but looks like a Flower (Ella Rose).Aiden is never one to pass up a pretty face. He was sure to hold on to Eva's hand the entire night.
Try and remember that this lady is only 17 months old. She would not let anyone carry her, nor could anyone try and carry her bag of candy. If you tried, she snatched away the candy bag and screamed at you. She literally carried it until she kept dropping it from too much weight. While the other kids got VERY tired, she carried on walking all the way back home.
