Christmas Eve ...

This is the second year that we have attended a party where the real Santa visits around 8 pm. He has a bag with gifts for everybody & though Ella didn't really like sitting on Santa's lap, she was fascinated with him most of the night.
Aiden is patiently waiting for Santa to call his name.
This is a fully tamed, neutered pet possum. It turns out that this is the best pet ever; they are cold blooded, so their bodies do not tolerated disease. No shots required and minimal vet visits; I'm not sure how possums didn't become "Mans Best Friend".

Santa Called ...

There are few free services in the world but I'm happy to report that KOST 103.5 supplies the "Real" Santa that calls children; then it is aired on the radio. So, on Saturday at 12:15 pm, the phone rang and it was the big guy himself. He and Aiden spoke for a long while and it is being aired on this morning, Monday at 7:50 am. For those of you who think lying to our children about Santa Clause is wrong, I totally agree, but just look at the complete joy you see in his face. How can anyone deny that little man a little magic?

P-L-E-A-S-E

We know she can say please, ok. We have heard it, she has totally said it. You ask her to say please for a cookie, piece of chocolate, raspberries, tic tacs, or what ever and she will actually shake her head "No". Obviously, she doesn't get the treat, right? So, she sits there reaching for the treat, climbing on you and trying from various angles to "get it herself"; we put back where she started and still she refuses to say Please. So she throws a tantrum and gets put in time out for a couple minutes, still she wont say Please. She comes out of time out and throws another tantrum resulting in being put into bed for 10 minutes; still, she wont say please. By the time she comes out of bed, the treat is now absorbed by someone else in the family. The picture is the look on her face when she realizes there is none left. Stubborn!!!!!

I think we are keeping Vanilla ...
