Ella's 2nd Birthday

First thing in the morning, Aiden wanted to get Ella a "Birthday Donut". When we started singing to her, she pushed the donut away and said "Nooooooo". Then Chris showed her how to blow the candles out ... she was into it then.
We took her to Chuck E Cheese ...

Hmmmm...
Seriously, Grandma is laughing her butt off at this "Cricket" tattoo ...

Grammie made Ella her own SpongeBob blanket for her birthday. She was really not happy about sharing it with Aiden.

The party begins ...

Mini petting zoo...
Nathan is freaked out about all these animals.

The pig was my favorite. FYI.. pig poop is really weird looking.

Poppy ended up breaking the pinata.

Don't know what happened to the picture of Ella blowing out her candles.

Swine Flu Check

This is Aiden, in case you didn't recognize him. He started running a really high fever, I called the pediatrician with his symptoms and they told me to take him into emergency for a swine flu test. My reaction ... "What?" We get there and they immediately force a mask onto him, totally freaking him out ...
Ella really likes medical equipment. She does happen to be eating disgusting cheese crackers right here, but just after was back to taking her own temperature, blood pressure, etc...This was more drama after the needle then during. When he found out they had taken blood out of him, he went MENTAL. He thought he was going to die. It took about 25 minutes to calm him down.
Easily 6 hours into our ER visit, he decides, if he's stuck there, he might as well get a nap.

So he doesn't have the Swine Flu ... and now Ella has the fever.

Chivas vs. Seattle

This is our first football (soccer) game in the U.S.

These kids were all just here for the food. Nathan had a pretzel, nachos, cotton candy (ick), soda and kept asking me for popcorn, ice cream, churro ...
Ella was a riot! She would just go from person to person and take what she wanted to eat. Then squat down and drink from who ever's soda looked best. I think she actually had the best time.
Aiden's totally satisfied now that he has nachos.

Chris is well in his element. He kept using his "English" phrases all night. I forgot how hot the English accent can be.

We love you Freddie! Now that you've got no hair, we love you Freddie. Chris actually told me to stop trying to photograph Freddie so much and watch the game!
