Our Day Off ...

It all started with Miss Ella dressing up in all her "Princess" gear. We had to check the mail in this attire, do some laundry, go to Target ... you get the picture. Thanks to Kelly making all the dress up stuff.

What better way to delay going home then to challenge Mom to make a fort. For my first try, and being a girl, I think I did ok. The challenge is making sure Ella doesn't tear it apart - oh, and getting air inside.

Being on the "Sad Face Side"

Aiden's Kindergarden teacher uses the "Happy Face / Sad Face" method at school until all the kids recognize their own names. Aiden's incorporated this method at our house on his personal white board.

I came out of the bedroom this morning to find Aiden's head deep in his Halloween bucket & he was chewing on something. I said "It is a school day dude, no candy for breakfast" & removed his bucket from his arms reach. He marched straight over to the "Happy Face / Sad Face" board and moved my name.
